Founded in Biloxi. Built for the Gulf Coast.

Poseidon Geodynamics LLC was founded in 2026 in Biloxi, Mississippi, with a clear purpose: to bring modern helical pile technology to the Gulf Coast and beyond. As a helical pile manufacturing and installation company, we combine in-house production capability with engineering expertise to deliver deep foundation solutions that outperform traditional methods.

Our founders recognized that the Gulf Coast — with its challenging soil conditions, hurricane exposure, and growing infrastructure demands — needed a better approach to deep foundations. Traditional driven piles and drilled shafts are expensive, slow, and disruptive. Helical piles are faster, cleaner, and more cost-effective.

Where We're Headed

Poseidon Geodynamics

“Become the Southeast's premier helical pile manufacturer and installer, combining in-house production capability with cutting-edge engineering software to deliver turnkey deep foundation solutions.”

Why Helical Piles?

Seven reasons helical piles outperform traditional deep foundation methods.

No Concrete

All-steel construction means no concrete, no cure time, and immediate loading capability. Pour-free foundations that are ready the moment they're installed.

No Excavation

Helical piles screw directly into the ground with minimal soil displacement. No excavation, no spoils to haul off, no site restoration required.

No Vibration

Silent, vibration-free installation makes helical piles ideal for work near existing structures, sensitive equipment, and occupied buildings.

Immediate Capacity

Load the pile immediately after installation. No waiting for concrete to cure, no setup time — your project stays on schedule from day one.

All-Weather

Install helical piles in rain, cold, heat, or any weather condition. No weather delays, no seasonal shutdowns — work continues year-round.

Removable

Helical piles can be unscrewed and removed for temporary structures, environmental projects, or site decommissioning. Fully reversible foundations.

Verifiable

Real-time torque monitoring provides direct correlation to load capacity (Qu = Kt × T). Every pile is verified during installation — no guesswork.

Gulf Coast Expertise

We know Mississippi Gulf Coast soils because we build on them every day. From sandy beach profiles to inland expansive clays, our engineering accounts for local conditions.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast presents unique geotechnical challenges. Coastal sandy soils transition to inland clays, often within short distances. Hurricane-prone conditions demand foundations that can handle uplift, lateral loads, and storm surge. Our team has studied and worked in these soils extensively, and our design software incorporates local geotechnical data to optimize every pile configuration.

Location Typical Soil SPT N-Value Notes
Biloxi (beach) Sand / sandy loam 10 – 25 Good for helicals
Biloxi (inland) Clay / silty clay 5 – 15 Watch for expansive
Gulfport Mixed sand / clay 8 – 20 Variable profiles
Ocean Springs Sandy clay 10 – 20 Generally favorable
Bay St. Louis Soft clay over sand 3 – 8 Deeper embedment needed
Pascagoula Alluvial deposits 5 – 15 River-influenced profiles

Environmental Advantages

Helical piles are one of the most environmentally responsible deep foundation solutions available.

  • No concrete = zero carbon emissions from cement production
  • No excavation spoils to dispose of or transport offsite
  • Removable and reusable — helical piles can be extracted and reinstalled
  • Minimal site disturbance — small equipment footprint preserves the landscape
  • No dewatering required — eliminates water management and discharge
  • No casing or drilling fluids — no bentonite, no slurry, no contamination
